MISSION IMPOSSIBLE?

NOT AT GAS305 THERE ISN’T!

We are really enjoying this project, a 1971 Volkswagen 1302 Beetle.  It’s been completely stripped out and professionally painted in Audi Imola Yellow, with a black bonnet and further black detailing.  It’s left hand drive, and has a full race quality roll cage.  The front suspension has been converted to 1303 independent struts.  We’ve recently completed most of the wiring, installed the fuel tank, etc.  Really just needs engine and gearbox, plus finishing touches although though the latter can be the most time consuming!!  Keep monitoring - will be on a street near you soon!!

Just look at this 1968 Mercedes Benz 280SL Pagoda (W113, M130 Engine)!  It’s had been stored in a ‘bubble’ for the last 12 years or so (hence the dust!) but that’s why it’s in such an amazing condition.  We got it back to a roadworthy condition mechanically, and sent it to the bodyshop for a complete freshen up!  It’s now having all of the interior re-upholstered.  This has to be one of the best examples left, truly stunning!  Watch this space for photos of the finished article...

We recently completed a project on this stunning 1966 Ford Mustang 289 Cabriolet.   Flat-checked cylinder heads, replaced head gaskets, water pump, etc.  Replaced all the usuals like ‘dizzie’ cap, HT’s, plugs, etc. Made good someone’s interesting ‘improvised solutions’ shall we say, that really weren’t solutions at all! Overhauled the carburettor, adjusted valves and timing to ultimate settings.  It’s running beautifully!  What a lovely car!!

This MINT 1995 VW Golf GTi 2.0 16V was going to be SQUASHED!!!!  It had been sitting out in all weathers with no cabin filter cover on, and two years worth of rain, etc. had got inside the car.  It needed the entire interior removing, drying and the absolute cleaning of it’s ‘lifetime’!  We fitted a new immobiliser and coded it to the ECU, and fitted a new transponder to the key then coded that to the immobiliser.  Our technical knowledge and diagnostic/coding technology, saved this lovely car.  The same technology and know-how keeps us up to date will all the latest models which require ever increasing expert I.T. capabilities!!

And so another project commences!  This is a 1971 W114 Mercedes that has been previously converted to an automatic diesel, and wow is it noisy!  The car itself is in good condition and with some love and effort will once again be a beautiful vehicle.  Our initial brief is to remove the diesel engine and it’s ancillaries and replace with a manual V8!  Watch this space closely as we will be uploading progress regularly.
